I am on a  minor quest of sorts.

I've been concentrating on my art, which I use C++ for, because it is fast, and I speak C as a native.  However,  I'm also doing some volunteer coding for Ruby4Good.  To support that I want to become a Most Excellent Rails developer.

I have done Rails before, starting back at Rails 0.9.something, but that's a bit of a gaping void, and it's been awhile.

I learn best when I have a meaty project, and I have a couple in mind  But first I own the technical intellectual property from an (alas, failed) startup Rails from a few years ago, and I'm going to recreate it in Rails 7.

It's time to shake off the rust.

Wish me luck.
